so life has been crazy the past few months. my roommate has been in the hospital, my work has been crazy, i've been cleaning up messes that people left on their shermanesque marches out of the city, connecting with new friends and cementing relationships with old friends. i've even reconciled with every single one of my real and perceived enemies. it's wonderful. i won't go around saying my life is fabulous, because it certainly has its ups and downs, but i really do have it good. everyday, my dreams get closer to fruition. i have a promotion and relative job security in an uncertain time, and i am healthy and losing weight and feeling great. it's a wonderful time to be ![[info]](http://l-stat.livejournal.com/img/userinfo.gif?v=92) scottrossi. i just want to do a few shout outs right now to some important people in my life currently. i present to you, in no particular order, my gratitude list:
alphaomegasf is my roomie. he's been in hospital for a while so they can fix his leg after a stairwell treacherously attacked him. i wish i could be there more for him, but i'll reference to the above job situation and the one of the shermanesque marches if you will. he's a really great guy and i cannot wait until he's out of that place so we can all have adventures again. ^____^
chunkems is one of my ride or die boos! i knew i would love her forever when i saw her Milk Hill Spinner crop circle tattoos, because i thought i was the only one who liked that pattern. i <3 her so much. she's been such a voice of wisdom and experience that i just don't have access to and i love her for that. she's truly great. i also an indebted to her for making us walk from that party on NYE to the Eagle because that's when we found Ness.
asphaltwanderer is also one of my ride or die boos! we've been there for each other when we've most needed each other. we first met when i was getting my picture taken for dantc's website and we've been great friends ever since. he's been one of the most level headed voices of reason in my circle of friends and he's kept my nonsensical IRL and URL behavioral excesses in check a number of times. we've done ads for bars together and had them plastered all over the city. he also just gave me a shitload of stuff for my house and i am eternally grateful.
![[info]](http://l-stat.livejournal.com/img/user_ontd.gif?v=92) old_age is amazing. we are both from the east coast and we've lived in similar settings our entire lives (suburbs of large cities, surrounded by sassy black and hispanic girls, etc). we are pretty similar and thus, provide terrific amounts of comic relief in any given situation. we have a lot of similarities, yet also a lot of differences which make us two awesome and unique people. being from one of the east coast nests of vipers and faggots, i have found he trusts me to hang out with his boyfriend ex_nihilo alone, which is a great sign of respect! even though he thinks The Singularity is going to happen, he has, like the above people, earned a place on my permaculture homestead and fortress when the apocalypse happens. ^____^
ex_nihilo is equally amazing as old_age, for differing reasons. i like Brian because we can both geek out about things and share our story development adventures and misadventures. lately, since i've been talking to him, i've been motivated to continue my writings, despite the craziness at my job. he's also trying to convert me to the religion of star trek, and while i've offered some resistance, i am not totally opposed, especially in light of the materials he's recently bequeathed to me.
dantc is the bomb. he is full of mischief and unruliness and is also a tome of knowledge and esoterica. i also enjoy making him laugh as his laughter is as hearty and and full as my own and i love it. he's definitely one of the best drinking buddies anyone could ask for. HOLLER.
that's it for right now. there are more of you, but i am stoned and i want to go lay down and read some quantum physics books. the end, love scott.

OH Lordy, I've been so busy lately, I am behind on house cleaning. I've had a new shower curtain waiting to be put up for 4 weeks now, while the other one gets more and more long in the tooth. :/
I have amazing new technicolor bedsheets and pillow cases to put on. I am trying to get Ness off of the bed and he'll move a foot and lay back down. I am all "PRESIDENT, You've been sleeping ALL DAY!" and he's just "Mrow mrow mrow!" or he rollpurrs. LOL.

3:57 am - dinner with the first ex

my ex Bobby came over for dinner. we were talking shop about going into business together. it's interesting because there's no overt physical attraction and my heart doesn't cry out for him anymore. i also learned how to be his friend, which is new and exciting. we're taking everything slow and cautious, but we both have the same, or similar enough life goals that it's stupid not to join forces professionally.
One step closer to my dreams coming true!! :D
